Intake

Our attorneys will work with you to learn the necessary facts to successfully prosecute your case. It is critically important for the success of the case that we know as much as possible before proceeding forward with litigation. Knowing all the facts in advance will assist our attorneys in choosing the best course in moving forward. At this phase, our attorneys will also explain to you the risks of litigation, including counterclaims for damages against you by your former employee, the consequences of a negative outcome at trial, and an estimate of the attorneys fees and expenses associated with the litigation.

While we will be prepared to assist you immediately, you will need to be prepared to act as well. Certain preliminary steps, such as providing information so that we can run a conflict of interest check, signing our legal engagement letter, and transmitting an appropriate monetary retainer for the litigation, must be handled before our attorneys can commence work on your file. Again, our attorneys will be prepared to expeditiously handle this process so that we can begin to protect your interests.
