Recently awarded as one of Missouri's 40 Up & Coming Attorneys by Missouri Lawyers Weekly Magazine, Nathan is a partner in Spencer Fane's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Labor & Employment Practice Groups. His practice focuses on litigation of numerous contracts including non-competition and non-solicitation provisions. Nathan has experience litigating these issues before federal and state courts across the country, representing multi-national, regional and local businesses and individuals. His ability to provide creative solutions and emergency relief on the fly has earned him a reputation as one of the Midwest's premiere general business and employment litigators. His practice includes litigation and trial of employment contracts, wage and hour claims, class actions and multiple employee cases.
Nathan received his law degree, cum laude, from St. Louis University School of Law where he served as a Faculty Fellow, and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu national Jesuit honor society. While in law school, Nathan was active in the Moot Court Competition, a Student Bar Association Representative and Phi Alpha Delta Vice-Justice and Clerk. He was awarded the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's 2005 Young Lawyer of the Year Award and graduated in 2007 from the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce's Centurions Leadership Program. He is the co-author of "Congress Approves Major Housing Legislation," which was published in the 1999 Journal of Affordable Housing & Community Development. As a member of the KCMBA Young Lawyers Section, Nathan serves as secretary of the board, is the national ABA representative, and is very involved in a number of committees. He is a former participant in the Ross T. Roberts Inn of Court program.
Nathan is deeply involved in numerous charitable and civic organizations, serving on multiple boards and chairing various committees.
