Patrick handles non-compete and trade secret cases throughout the country. The co-author of numerous books, Patrick is a nationally-known speaker on the protection of intellectual property and prevention of unfair competition.

Patrick was recently recognized by the Kansas City Business Magazine as one of the top eight business lawyers in the city and the top choice for companies involved in Intellectual Property Litigation. Active in business and civic events throughout the region, Patrick was also recognized by Ingram’s Magazine as one of the area’s Top Business Leaders Under Forty.

Patrick is the Chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and a Charter Member of the Intellectual Property Governance Task Force.

Patrick earned Law and Masters Degrees from the University of Texas and Bachelor Degrees from the University of Kansas.
